Election update, 10 April: rail fares, police numbers, and volunteering

10 April 2015

The Conservatives will reportedly promise today to give workers three days paid leave for charitable projects, provided they're employed in bigger companies or the public sector.

Labour will be talking about policing, with a promise to protect the number of some officers.

And the Liberal Democrats will pledge a "Help to Rent" scheme to allow younger workers to borrow money for their deposit from government.
