Who we are

We are an independent fact checking organisation with a mission to build a better information environment to restore trust. We have expertise in data and online media literacy, and have built scalable, automated AI tools for organisations to identify patterns of false or misleading information.

What services do we offer?

Full Fact offers services that make the expertise and experience of the Full Fact team available to clients. From use of our AI tools, to training in data excellence: mastery of the whole lifecycle of data from sourcing to communication. Full Fact’s track record includes:

  • AI tools used by over 40 fact checking organisations working in three languages across 30 countries on a daily basis
  • Training clients including public bodies, national media, companies and charities
  • Expert evidence to parliamentary committees about online misinformation and media literacy
  • Regular media appearances explaining complex issues to general audiences

AI Tools

Every day fact checkers around the world find, check and challenge false claims identified by AI enabled software produced by Full Fact.

We have built scalable, robust software designed for fact checkers, and other organisations focused on good information, to save time, money and effort in identifying the most important bad information to address.

These tools are now available for other organisations to use via a paid licence.
