Recent fact checks
At Prime Minister’s Questions on 14 May we heard a number of seemingly conflicting claims about unemployment and jobs.

It appears each of these claims are based on different datasets, and figures vary significantly depending on the exact timeframe used.
NHS England corrected a mistake in its calculation of the number of extra hospital appointments delivered by Labour, after Full Fact challenged the error.

The correct figure for the increase in appointments between July 2024 and February 2025, compared to the same period the previous year, is 3.6 million—300,000 more than first claimed.
A video is being shared on social media with captions implying it shows UK protests over recent missile attacks by India on Pakistan.

This is false. The video has been circulating online since at least August 2024. Analysis of Google Street View images suggests it was filmed prior to September 2023.
