Tom Hegarty

Media Officer (former)

Tom joined Full Fact in 2016 as our first ever Media Officer. He managed our press relations and media appearances. He was previously employed by news planner Foresight News where he was responsible for health, science, space, transport, energy and environmental news, as well as covering politics in Northern Ireland. Before that he worked as a reporter, features writer and sub-editor in Belfast, the south of France and the North of England. He holds a BA in English Literature and Language from the University of Leeds and a Masters in Magazine Journalism from the University of Sheffield.
