Facts on Victoria Derbyshire

8 June 2016 | Amy Hawkins

“I just want some facts” is the repeated refrain of the EU referendum. There is much that cannot be known about the UK’s future in or out of the EU, but there are some things that can be known about where we currently stand. People have a right to know what the facts are, and we’ve been working with national media broadcasters to inform as many people as possible before June 23rd.

After being up late live factchecking the ITV Cameron versus Farage EU referendum programme last night, our Director Will was on the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire show this morning to lay out some of the facts of the EU debates. Alongside Anand Menon, Director of the impartial UK in a Changing Europe project, Will discussed immigration, the economy, and security. You can watch the clip in full here.

You can read our report with the UK in a Changing Europe on the facts behind the claims here.
