The Prime Minister said in local TV interviews that housing “illegal migrants” in hotels costs £5-6 million per day.

The Home Office’s latest figures show that as of June this year the cost of housing asylum seekers in hotels had risen to £8.3 million per day.

Social media posts have claimed India has used some of the £2.3 billion it’s received in overseas aid from the UK to fund its lunar mission.

This is false. None of the aid sent to India is spent on the country’s space programme. It is invested in businesses and other projects of benefit to both countries.
