How many seats are each of the main parties contesting?
According to calculations by the Press Association and the BBC from mid-November, the Conservatives are contesting 635 seats, Labour 631, the Lib Dems 611, the Greens 498 and the Brexit Party 275. The SNP are contesting all 59 seats in Scotland and Plaid Cymru are standing in 36 Welsh constituencies.
These numbers may have changed slightly over the last month.
