2 April: debate day, Sure Start and that "unprecedented" letter

2 April 2015

Tonight sees the leaders of seven parties appear in a live televised debate. Just like last week's leaders' interviews, we'll be live factchecking. Keep an eye out for our tweets and posts on the discussion as it unfolds.

Zero hours contracts continue to make headlines this morning. We've covered this issue in some depth.

Today we'll be factchecking Labour's warning on Sure Start centres, and Conservative assertions about an "unprecedented" letter from businesses. We'll also be looking at claims about immigration and asylum seekers, and returning to the debate on living standards.

Look out for an argument about HS2 coming down the tracks as well.
